We believe the Church should be the most creative force on the planet. The Video Director will contribute to
accomplishing this goal by producing motion graphics, social media content, transitional videos during a Sunday
service, promotional content, sermon illustration videos, music videos and additional projects as needed. Also
responsible for filming (including lighting and audio) of internal video shoots.
Competencies:
• Exceptional filming and editing capabilities.
• Experience with the After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to manage equipment and keep it in working order.
• A natural storyteller.
• Ability to manage a team of staff and volunteers.
• Stay abreast of current video trends that keep our production at a high-level.
• Communication: Able to communicate confidently, consistently and concisely with people.
• Disciplined: Able to live by a set schedule and meet deadlines
• Detail Oriented: Does not let important details slip through the cracks.
• Humility: Leads from a position of humility, not authority.
• Organized: Capable of managing multiple projects and due dates.
Responsibilities:
Departmental
• Recruit, retain, and effectively train and grow a team of volunteers
• Job requires flexibility in schedule to accommodate emergent situations which may require working additional hours, including as needed
• Training staff inside of the Video Department
• Updating project management systems
• Contributing to the creative idea process as needed
• Other duties, as assigned
Videos
• Oversee the creation and production of all videos as requested from the Video Department and as needed to support Sunday services and series
• Work closely with the Design Department to ensure cohesion with use of colors, fonts, etc…
• Work closely with the Communications Department to support their goals and requirements
• Identify, cultivate, storyboard, capture and edit compelling stories of life change at Rivers Crossing

• Invest and invite your 8 to 15 to know Jesus and come to Rivers Crossing.
Portfolio:
• For roles where content creation is required, all candidates both internal and external are required to submit a portfolio with their application of at least 3 projects showing their capabilities.
• For roles where content creation is required, all candidates both internal and external are required to complete a brief assignment to show their capabilities. This assignment may include tasks to confirm not only capability, but software knowledge.
