PURPOSE
Our mission is to ensure a level of client service that exceeds our client’s expectations.
Making regular contact with clients to understand their goals, making prudent recommendations in alignment with their financial plan, and reviewing their investment allocation is vital to ensure client success.
Internally, an advisor will keep abreast of financial products and services, and provide investment opinions and research as needed to assist in maintaining a healthy team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (in order of learning)
Investment Management and Financial Planning:
Planning
- Learn Riskalyze, Ycharts, Right Capital, Holistiplan, Salesforce and reporting
Insurance
- Run illustrations for life and long-term care
- Annual policy reviews and maintenance
- Track LTC premium increases and share options with the appropriate advisor
Investments
- Update models for analysis as needed
- Review all accounts for possible adjustments
- Review for small positions for sale
Client Service:
Meeting Preparation
- Help with client communication before, during, and after meetings to ensure accuracy, efficiency
- Prepare appropriate meeting reports
- Link and update our tech stack
- Generate client access to Client Portal for all planning clients
Meetings
- Sit in on some Client meetings to get familiar with the process
- Assist in setting up and maintaining 401k plans
- Prep and Participate in Annual Review Meetings
Post Meeting – learn client follow-up
- Post-meeting planning for all advisors
- Update retirement and education plans as needed
- Run insurance illustrations
Research:
- Keep Current Models & Allocations on Excel spreadsheet
- Update Due Diligence – periodic performance Updates
- Create off-model investment performance reports and fund reviews quarterly
- Insurance Products – Life/hybrid LTC
Client Education:
- Review Client Education documents
- Ensure information accuracy
- Create new pieces as new information/programs, etc. become available
