Every Sunday at Relevant our team strives to create a experience for people to connect the message that is being preached with the music that is being played. We desire that people connect with every aspect of the service and look at it holistically not as two separate parts.
We are currently seeking to add to our Creative Arts team by hiring a full-time worship leader. We are a very modern church and have an Elevaton/ Hillsong style worship service. Most people that attend Relevant are in their 20's and 30's. We meet in a 1932 warehouse in Ybor City, part of the Tampa historic district with lots of shopping, restaurants, and clubs surrounding us.
Job duties include song selection, scheduling and working with band members, click and performance track creation, and creating and posting chord/lyric charts in Planning Center. Leading on Sundays as part of a rotating team, the successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, love working in a team environment, and ability to lead people. We are looking for someone who can sing and play guitar or piano at a high, professional level. Most of the volunteers in our band have/do play professionally and we expect that level of skill in our new hire.
